It's Not About the Burqa: Muslim Women on Faith, Feminism, Sexuality and Race: Amazon.co.uk: Khan, Mariam: 9781509886401: Books

An insightful and encouraging collection of essays by Muslim women, which made me feel a whole rollercoaster of emotions. A valuable, feminist book and important space where women’s voices are heard. – Becca

Girl, Woman, Other: WINNER OF THE BOOKER PRIZE 2019: Amazon.co.uk: Evaristo, Bernardine: 9780241984994: Books

A clever and moving celebration of women, culture and being true to yourself. This book took me on so many different journeys, and every single one amazed me! One of the best books I’ve ever read. – Becca

The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse: Amazon.co.uk: Mackesy, Charlie: 9781529105100: Books

Just loved everything about this. The artwork is amazing, and Mackesy has such a magical way with words too which leaves you inspired. – Luke

A Life in Parts: Bryan Cranston: Amazon.co.uk: Cranston, Bryan: 9781409156598: Books

Bryan Cranston’s autobiography is one of the best I’ve ever read. His writing is sensational, for a start, but this man and his life are so fascinating and make for a gripping read. – Luke

Thanks for the recommendations. I love the title It’s Not About the Burqa and look forward to reading it. I’m also about to put the Bryan Cranston book on hold at the library. Cool picks.
