Competition overview

This is a paid-submission competition welcoming entries of short stories, of any topic or genre*, between 1000 and 3000 words. The top prize is £100, with book prizes for two runners-up.

This competition is for charity; 50% of all submissions will be donated to NHS Charities Together, with any remaining money going towards website fees and domain costs, supporting Forever Endeavour and helping us continue to showcase writing and provide a platform to writers. We have to this point paid for all costs out of our own pocket, and this will help us to continue to provide the best possible service for contributory writers.

The entry fee per entry is either £5 or £10. You may choose the amount you pay to submit, with the higher amount providing a larger donation and supporting our platform twice as much.

All shortlisted entries will be published on Forever Endeavour, and featured on the homepage. This includes having any social media and blogs promoted to our readers.

Submissions will close 31st July 2020

Finalists and winners will be announced at the end of August 2020. (All finalists will be contacted before the reveal.)
