Memoirs of a City Fish by Summer Young

You are making potato hash

my mother’s recipe

I could make you burn it

if I flew out the window

in my blue towel

I might resemble rain

trick umbrellas

to explode like spots

you would only tie my guts

into a rope

pull me back up

for a taste test
